#WomenSupportingWomen

The Challenge Accepted campaign is a way for women to support one another and celebrate themselves. The challenge consists of women posting a black and white picture of themselves, using the hashtag #WomenSupportingWomen and including a thank you to the woman who nominated them.
Thank you Jessica Keen. You are an inspiration. And I nominate Selina Win Pe.
But I can't just post me. I have many beautiful friends. Not all have sat for me...yet.
But here are some that have.
1) Me....Kate Branch. Proudly a woman that can say has real friends. Real conversations. The right people in my life.
2) Irena. You are one of the most inspirational women I have met. You intuitive wisdom stops me in my tracks. You are like a living version of "The Alchemist." Thank the stars I found someone living their truth 100%. They exist people
3) Rebeka. Did you know you can have a park date pushing your kids on a swing and take a call to discuss PHD academic theories to your co-workers. Then slip straight back into casually talking. Rebeka can.
4) Yvette. Another strong woman. Dedicated to her family and her health and wellness. I mean let's face it. She has had four beautiful kids and she look like this. You try running at 6am after a night with four kids.
5) Jessica. Amazing example of how one person can change a community. Thanks to Jess, our kids are safer walking to school. As are her four.
6) Betty. One of the strongest women I know. Raising three beautiful children (under five) far away from her mother and home. Not everyone can do that. You try.
7) Emma. No joke....but did you know you can be warm, funny, nice person. And a lawyer?  I did not. But Emma proved me wrong.
To the other amazing women I know. I love you Xx

Hotel Palácio: James Bond gives it five stars.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying in castles in Lausanne Switzerland, Airbnbs with baths overlooking secluded bushland, and hotel rooms with gold leaf cigar cases. However, I must say, Hotel Palácio boasts the most remarkable provenance and history I’ve ever experienced.  To their credit, they share the story exceptionally well, earning the ‘cap social’ on their receipt, valued at 73,078,500.00 Euros, which represents the Corporate Capital associated with Hotel Palácio. It’s a requirement in Portugal for all companies/corporations to state their Corporate Capital on bills/invoices/receipts.  Hotel Palácio boasts two very famous guests: Duško Popov (the real life inspiration for the James Bond character) and Ian Fleming. However, this hotel didn’t just accommodate them during one of their casual vacations. It played a central role in the British intelligence operation Midas. Duško Popov intercepted German requests for intelligence, feeding them back prepared British disinformati...

Photography and Economics

Hi, Im Photographer Kate Branch. Photography is an art form that has captured the hearts of many. But behind the beautiful images, there is a world of economics at play. The photography industry is a multi-billion dollar industry, with thousands of professionals and hobbyists all trying to make a living or capture the perfect shot. Being a professional photographer is not just about having the right equipment and skills, it's also about running a business. Photographers must be able to market themselves, manage their finances, and charge their clients appropriately for their services. The cost of a photo shoot can vary widely depending on the type of photography and the experience of the photographer. A basic family portrait session can cost a few hundred dollars, while a high-end fashion shoot can cost tens of thousands of dollars. In addition to charging for services, photographers also make money through the sale of their prints and digital images. However, the rise of digital t...
