Uluru by Kate Branch

Uluru, or Ayers Rock, is a massive sandstone monolith in the heart of the Northern Territory’s arid "Red Centre". The nearest large town is Alice Springs, 450km away. Uluru is sacred to indigenous Australians and is thought to have started forming around 550 million years ago. I donated this image to wikicommons. To download click here

#WomenSupportingWomen

The  Challenge Accepted  campaign is a way for women to support one another and celebrate themselves. The  challenge  consists of women posting a  black and white  picture of themselves, using the hashtag #WomenSupportingWomen and including a thank you to the woman who nominated them. Thank you Jessica Keen. You are an inspiration. And I nominate Selina Win Pe. But I can't just post me. I have many beautiful friends. Not all have sat for me...yet.  But here are some that have.  1) Me....Kate Branch. Proudly a woman that can say has real friends. Real conversations. The right people in my life. 2)  Irena. You are one of the most inspirational women I have met. You  intuitive  wisdom stops me in my tracks. You are like a living version of "The Alchemist." Thank the stars I found someone living their truth 100%. They  exist   people !  3)  Rebeka. Did you know you can have a park date pushing your kids...

Kate Branch Photographer

#katebranchphotography Hi, my name is Kate Branch. I am a Photographer and Social Media Manager. I am a  Photographer  foremost and a Social Media Manager second. To create relevant content today you must have training in Business and Social Media Management. But my heart is with my camera. I have 25 years of experience  capturing beauty . Landscapes, portraits, and fashion will always be at my core.  My undergraduate degree (BA Fine arts, UNSW) fine-tuned my creative conceptual skills. My Masters (MA Art Therapy, UWS) deepened my ability to create imagery that has an emotional connection.   I am the author of a  book  and  youtube  channel "How to look good in photos." I am very proud that my book and the tips and tricks have been shared in the American "La Daily" and the Australian "Daily Telegraph."

Photography reflections

Was it last week I was capturing Byron sunsets, editing my photos in cafes and going to chanting groups and drumming circles? I am so thankful for that week. I will try to keep my love of nature up through all of this. With all the stress at the moment, there is something calming and beautiful about a sunrise. The sun will always rise the next day. I hope my landscape pictures inspire you through this tough time. I hope that people find in them rest, relaxation, or a pause for renewal. May the colour be curative. May they provide sanctuary. May the energy that inspired this work in the first place live on and be felt by those who resonate with it. #worldtravel #travelphotography #katebranch #katebranchcreative
